Cancer Matters Wessex – full website development

Fontis worked with a range of healthcare organisations to develop this much-needed resource for people in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Developed in partnership with NHS Dorset, the Wessex Cancer Alliance and Macmillan Cancer Support, the website’s content and design were also guided by people with lived experience, who played a key role in its development.

Designed to support patients, carers, family members and friends, the website presents a large volume of information in a simple format, with information about cancer, treatment options, local services and support all included. A clear, intuitive design means users can quickly navigate to the right information, and built-in accessibility tools allow more visitors to use the site in a way that works for them.

As part of the website’s development, Fontis also worked with partners to create shared branding for Cancer Matters Wessex, representing the different organisations involved.

Cancer Matters Wessex – full website development

These immersive training tools allow healthcare professionals to participate in remote training at a time and place that suits them. 

Currently developed as prototypes for a variety of clients, they can be used for a range of purposes, from medication training and surgical techniques to wellbeing support.

These immersive tools make training more engaging, as well as offering the flexibility to complete practical training remotely rather than in-person.
