In response to the ongoing cost of living crisis, Surrey County Council identified the need for a digital tool to help residents explore financial support and improve their home’s energy efficiency. The goal was to develop an intuitive, accessible tool under tight timelines that would support residents, as well as providing the council with useful insights and understanding.
Fontis collaborated with the council to develop the Energy Advice Tool – an interactive platform designed to signpost residents to relevant help, advice and potential funding options. The tool was accessed in a variety of ways, including iPads in community settings, and enabled residents to receive tailored recommendations based on their circumstances.
